Soon after attila came with some doomstacks, moved to the Danube with only one other stack, of which i took advantage and killed attilla in battle the first time after his 18th birthday , Have northern factions at war with huns, push back the Tengri faith and protect the northern kingdoms from huns. Meanwhile attila grew up, threathening the Ostrogoths who settled in Dacia, but i left a horde and my priestesses in the north to watch for huns, Losing the entire east to rebellion and razing sassanids, i managed to hold them off for them diverting my entire horde and slooooowwllyy growing more hordesīut they now own only Greece, islands and bit more than half of Turkey, with rebel Pontics as allies, Nobatia is holding Egypt, and the ERE is barely hanging on. Once i got my offensive rolling targeting constantinople, the eastern emperor offered to become tributary if i declare on all his enemies, including the Nids ,Nobatia was also my tributary then ,Īlthough soon after i saw that the ai really did not know how to defend against the sassanid hordes , Though i did persecute any faction who razed instead of sacked. I broke both of them in concert with the other barbarians , I am still trying to go horde only with them, after being chased around by WRE and ERE stacks in the Balkans , All in all it was one of the most fun campaigns I have had in a TW game. I did have a civil war break out, but it was small and easily crushed. It was a great campaign, I never felt "safe" but in hindsight I never had large scale threats (for example I never fought the huns). I was the one that burned down the areas north of me as a buffer in the early days. Like Thess_Al_os suggested, I did worry about Narbonensis until I had all of southern spain (I even went for all of the previous Western Roman Africa before doing it). The Romans had issues with other tribes and the many many rebel factions that seem to pop up so once I stabilized my economy I was able to take the fight to them and crush them. I then settled in northern Spain and ended up fighting the Romans who decided to make a last stand in southern Spain. Liberating cities helps break roman power, creating a buffer of desolate regions also helps. I used those liberated cities as allies and I traveled with the Ostrigoth for the most part. I sacked and more importantly I liberated alot of cities, including Rome itself. ![]() In my Visigoth campaign then I declared war on Western Rome as soon as I got to their borders. 2K A Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia.847 A Total War Saga: Fall of the Samurai.
